Obama is proposing sweeping education reforms.  Say bye bye to No Child Left Behind.  Will Obama's proposal get an A or is it just a revamped version of Bush's attempt at education reform?  Read the story at the Huffington Post. 

Long Time No Blog

Wow...I think this is the longest I've ever gone without blogging.  Guess I just haven't been in the mood or maybe I don't really have anything to say.  Probably both.  Good news today...the President is going to propose a major overhaul to the No Child Left Behind law which is being referred to by its old name, Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA).  Looks like AYP maybe replaced with a more realistic accountability system.  We shall see.  You can read about some of the proposed changes by clicking here.
